Music or not when meditating
Do you listen to music when you meditate? Or do you prefer to meditate without music?

Something I'm asked about is whether I listen to music when meditating.
Personally I like to listen to music but it has to be relaxing. It can't be the music I normally listen. That style of music has too much beat and tempo for it to be relaxing. It's the kind of music that makes you want to groove - hardly the sort of music to help you get into a meditative state.
I like to listen to things like rainforest sounds, or sounds of a babbling creek. Although one of my favourite songs to listen to is Halcyon and on and on by Orbital, but it's hard to say because I like to listen to wolf sounds as well a the calling of whales. But either way I use music when meditating because it helps me relax sooner and find a meditative state sooner.
How about you, what music, if any, do you listen to when meditating?
