Your Special Day

I know how important such a day is and I will make sure you get the ceremony, with the vows that work for you. Ahead of the big day, I will spend time with you to discuss the sort of ceremony you want, how you want the atmosphere to be, and offer suggestions about traditional Handfasting ceremonies, activities and how we can bring out the special elements that make your relationship unique, and beautiful.

Your Vows

In spending time with you, I will get a feeling of who you are as individuals and as a couple. I will spend time to craft the vows that most honor and celebrate your coming together and making the commitment in front of each other, your loved ones and your deity(ies). Rest assured you will be given a Handfasting ceremony that picks up on the traditions of the Norse and Germanic peoples with ways to make it a truly unforgettable day.

On The Day

I will arrive well ahead of time to make sure that everything is ready and that everything needed is working and at hand. I can offer you both company and an impartial ear to help make sure you are not overwhelmed. I bring all the things that I require.

What You Will Receive

Following the day, I will send to you a copy of the vows given during your ceremony, along with a high quality audio recording and Certificate of Commitment for you to keep among your cherished belongings. This will include the sash used for the Handfasting. I always encourage couples to get these framed to hang in a prominent place in your home as a reminder of your commitment when the going gets tough, and when the good days abound.
