Geometry and the Other World
Geometry isn't necessarily the first thing we think of when it comes to the supernatural, paranormal and metaphysical. Think again.

Geometry and Traditional Practices
Geometry plays an important role when it comes to the supernatural, paranormal and metaphysical. There are sacred shapes used to invoke spirits. There are sacred shapes used in the consecration of the tools used in ceremonies and rituals for some traditional spiritual practices.
There is geometry in the tattoos used by some cultures for protection, abundance, attraction and other such spells.
Geometry can also be seen in world's energy lines, as well as the edifices erected over the ages to tap into that energy. Pyramids are a great example as are circles. Places of worship, for rituals and sacred places often reflected circles.
Geometry and the Gods
We can also look at how the Gods created the universe, and gave it energy. Spheres are common throughout the universe. Spheres are incredibly strong shapes that contain energy and distribute it in roughly equal measures. Take a look at how a plasma globe radiates its energy before you put your hand near it.
Geometry and the Natural World
There are the remarkable shapes of trees and the canopies they form which are repeated in their root systems. Consider the mathematical essence of the nautilus shell demonstrating a remarkable approximation to the Golden Ratio.
Shells were another an important part of worship, included in rituals as offerings. They were considered valuable by nearly all peoples, used as currency and jewelry.
Geometry and the Other World
Geometry is probably not the first thing we think of in pursuit of connecting with the spirits to aid our attainment of our desires and those of others, but it does play a very important role in connecting with the Other World. Perhaps the next time you're conducting a ritual or practicing worship, you'll be reminded of geometry and the Other World.
