It's not easy following a new path in life, especially a spiritual path. There are challenges to walking the path. There are lots of obstacles and lots of things that look like the path but aren't.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is that there are going to be missteps, there will be stumbles, there will be misguided leaps. But as long as you keep going and keep learning then you are still walking the path.
The forks in the road and the intersections are choices. They are also tests for your faith in your spirit and the Other World, the supernatural beings that live among us and the Gods of creation that extended their divine power into the world.
I wish I could tell you about what to choose and what to pick on such occasions but these are tests entirely for you. No one else can take them and no one else has the answers. We can provide guidance and provide assistance but we cannot give you the answers.
Along your path you must continue your practice. You must continue the training or the path grows dim and your connection weakens. Just like anything in life you have to always go back to the beginning and keep reminding yourself about the basics to keep building up the core knowledge and to keep you true to the path.
By keeping up your practice you will be able to keep the path in sight. It doesn't mean you won't have missteps or stumbles but it means they will have less impact. They will just be reminders to go back to the beginning to keep your practice and training strong.
As you walk the path you must continually ask yourself whether your mind and heart desire the same things. You have to keep up with the various rituals and ceremonies that you know.
Sometimes you will find yourself questioning a range of things. There is nothing inherently wrong with this but it can be made worse by the people around you in your life who may be skeptics and non-believers. These are the times where you need to be solid in yourself, to know that your mind and heart desire the same thing. This is when your practice and training will help you the most.
In these situations the best advice you can get is to stay calm and keep the faith.
But above all else keep walking your path as best you can. Don't beat yourself up for missteps, stumbles and mistakes. Keep learning, keep practicing and keep your faith.
If all else fails you can always reach out to me for a chat. I'm happy to help you follow your new path in life.
